US PRESIDENT OBAMA AND THE LEGENDARY CHEF ANTHONY BOURDAIN ATE BUN CHA LIKE LOCALS IN HANOI, MAY 2016.
This was how the World knew about one of the most iconic delicacies of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. Among those well-known street foods like Banh mi, Pho, or Goi cuon, Bun Cha is the representative for the North part.
“Bun” means the rice vermicelli, while “cha” means the grilled meat, or any kind of meat which is cooked by charcoal grill. A combination of the smoky flavour, the fragrant sweet and sour light fish sauce, and the freshness of vermicelli and herbs, altogether brings an unforgettable experience, addictive but healthy.
Inspired by the North food tradition, we would like to introduce to you our delicious and unique dishes, which might make you feel like you are sitting on some small streets of Vietnam. Our menu will deliver to you our signature in charcoal grilled dishes, however, there are a lot of interesting things we would like you to discover. Not only the North part, we also have some specialities from the ancient Hue, Hoi An, or Saigon street food.
Thank you for coming, we hope that you can enjoy your meals and have good experiences at Bun Cha Restaurant.
